Name: Isys. Gender: Feminine. Age: Three and a half years. Orientation: Straight. Phase: (to be decided) Rank: El Dimonis.
Appearance:
Not only does she think she's a star, but the fact of her bright golden pelt doesn't help. It is sleek and short, which is good for the summer, although can be a pain for the winter as it takes a while to grow long even as the cold weather settles in. Tabby markings slash through her glittering fur, just a slight darker than her pelt, perhaps a more amber hue. They are breezier than most other tabby coats, as her markings lay feathery and slightly swirled at some points instead of thick, straight streaks.
She walks with a stance that give other cats the vibe that she thinks she's better than everyone else -- which she does think, of course, but others obviously do not. Her body sits on an average frame, not particularly tiny, nor particularly large. However, her movements make her look like she's trying to appear with a small, delicate stature, and in some ways her frame is a tad nicely sculpted, but not how she really wants. From her paws slip out powerful, gleaming silver claws, that produce an aura of light that glint blindingly if you accidentally look at them in the wrong angle.
Personality:
Isys believes, to state it simply, that she is the absolute center of the universe. Her mind is dead-set on believing that there is no other feline more beautiful than her, more powerful than her, no smarter than she is one bit -- she simply thinks that she is the brightest star in the universe. No, she is a point of light brighter than any star or sun or moon. And it is true that she is rather pretty, fairly powerful, and has a quick-thinking, strategic mind. But certainly not the most in all the world, no, indeed. Needless to say "vain" may be an understatement with this she-cat. Words like "tad" or "slight" are almost never used to describe her mental state.
Exactly how she was led to be this, no one can be quite sure of. She was, of course, an only child and was the center of her parent's attention at first, but others did not turn out like her. However, she claims to believe that whoever decides the fates of all cats, why did she end up so breathtaking or so strong? Isys sees herself in a vain way -- her eyes only see what they want to, and she's always wanted to believe she's the best at everything, and so why shouldn't she see herself differently than others? It's actually a simple way to look at her vanity. But the world doesn't always care what one person wants...
However, one must feel pity for this she-cat. Her childhood was, after all, not the most fun one. No one ever cared what she wanted, and so, of course, she grew up always longing for everything because she could have nothing. Isys has her nervous breakdowns -- if she doesn't get what she wants, she often ends up quivering and screaming uncontrollably. She's not the most self-controlled feline, and thus, can you blame her? Some call her a mere "angst teen", and others see her as unappreciative scum. Nonetheless, she's a good fighter, perhaps the only reason she was not demoted to a Subordinat.
Also, one must note that Isys, from birth, had obsessive compulsive disorder. She would throw tantrums if things weren't perfectly neat and organized, and similarly, would have nervous breakdowns, although much less severe, as she didn't quite realize what was going on as much. Needless to say she was not the most polite or cheerful kit, although she did always enjoy playing and other activities most kits did, although she was always very uptight about keeping her fur nice and neat. This caused most other kits to avoid her, as they only wanted to play and get dirty. She had not a great number of friends -- perhaps another reason for what she is now.
Beneath all of this, however, is a very large mind. She has theories no one else does, and this causes her mind to work like a super-computer. Her obsessive compulsive disorder tributes to this -- she almost always makes foolproof plans, as she knows that she'll have a breakdown if her plans don't go accordingly, and thus she very rarely looses her battles. Despite this, if she does lose (which can happen if the opponent has the wits to outsmart her), Isys is not exactly a pretty sight. She doesn't want to lose. And if she doesn't get what she wants, you already know what happens, but losing is one of her ultimate breaking points -- a fatal flaw.
History:
It really was always hard for this cat, growing up -- even as a kit no less, none of the other kittens enjoyed playing with her, as it wasn't in her nature to lose from birth, and thus when she did she became such a screaming bundle of fur the other kitten, and even the kit-mothers, found it hard to bare. She doesn't quite remember who her mother, was, and no one will tell her. Her real mother was said to have disowned her, and she was raised by and fed on the milk of other nursing queens. Something tells her she is still in the phase -- another reason for her to eerily eye all the she-cats older than she.
At training age, she was trained quite hard. Such potential she had, though it was wasted on the vanity sculpting her mind. Her vanity grew especially after she defeated a fox cub single-handedly when it broke into their camp, and she had only began her training two moon-cycles ago. Though fearless she was, she did get hurt often, usually finding her way to the E Xaman's den for treatment by the end of every training session it seemed. Her fighting abilities began to excel, and soon she was made an El Dimonis.
Ever since, not much has happened. Honestly -- the other cats knew they would have to deal with her no matter what, as she was a good addition to the Phase, and no cat could deny that. One must note also she does not like kits at all. Because she was abandoned by her mother, most females are inferior to her, as she knows any one of them could be her mother, her abandoned her and no one ever was kind enough to tell her who she was, as if they were all on her mother's side for keeping the secret. Infuriating, no?
Anger fuels those in battle. There's a nick in her ear which she gained from a battle with the Lluna Nova, her first scar she had received for a while. It has healed a bit since, but it still haunts her and reminds her of the first time she messed up in battle enough to receive an appearance-detracting scar. Ever since that, she has tried to train more even although her training was long since completed, and finds herself unable to accept that she could easily get more scars from just a few simple mistakes in battle. She prepares herself constantly for the cat who will bring her down -- is fear a flaw?
Her past makes it obvious. She is an angel on broken wings.
Notes: -- well, yeah, she can be beat. duh. she's just pretty strong. <<;
