In the rundown wharves where the Primer Trimestre live, somewhere along the river there is a small beach. The pebbles here are thinned out and tall grass lines the shore. At one end, there is a small dock running parallel to the bank with rotting wood that threatens to give way at any moment. In the shallows close to the beach there are a few half-sunken wrecks of canoes, and shards of wood sticking out of the water. The docks provide a good place for fish to hide, and a good place for fish to be caught.
